Rainforests

Today we talked about rainforests. There is so much to learn about life in the rainforests. Click below to hear the reading: Why are rainforests important ? You can also click the links below to look at animals and plants of the rainforests. Does your native country have any rainforests ? Did you ever visit a rainforest ? Did you know that there are two kinds of rainforests - tropical and temperate ? I searched for a video about the rainforests and found one called The Fight for Amazonia. It's about the Amazon rainforest in Brazil. It looks interesting !

Phrasal Verbs

A phrasal verb is a verb with two parts. One part is a verb (go, look, find) and the other part is a preposition (in, on, with ). Together, the verb and the preposition that goes with it form a new meaning. So, it is important to study phrasal verbs by looking at lots of examples. Here is a list of phrasal verbs that you can "look up" !  (look up = find in the dictionary)
